Maverick's first show

Hi again,
We did it!! Maverick, Jim and I set out for our first show on Friday. It only took us an hour to get to Woodstock, Illinois.
Maverick was a trooper...never put a foot wrong. If any mistakes were made, I made them.
There were only two other Havanese there that day. So there was not a lot of competition. He took best puppy, among other things, which allowed us to go into the ring again (outside this time) and show against other best puppies in the toy group. He did great again, and I had more time to get my thoughts together. He ended up getting fourth place in a group of about eight pups. We were very happy. He seemed like he'd done it all before. It was a pleasure to show him.
